The program of 26 papers was selected from 32 submissions. Each paper was reviewed by at least three Program Committee members and sometimes by additional reviewers. This year, the workshopwas organizedinto sessions of papers on related topics, and each session consisted of two to three minute presentations. Based on feedback from the workshop, the papers were revised and submitted for inclusion in the formal proceedings published in this volume.
Two papers were presented at the workshop but later withdrawn from the? The 33 papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from submissions. The conference is a forum for researchers and practitioners working on various aspects of integer programming and combinatorial optimization with the aim to present recent developments in theory, computation, and applications.
The scope of IPCO is viewed in a broad sense, to include algorithmic and structural results in integer programming and combinatorial optimization as well as revealing computational studies and novel applications of discrete optimization to practical problems. The two conferences were co-located in Pisa, Tuscany, Italy during September 20—24, We are happy to provide some statistics about the conferences. The Program Committee members were deeply involved in what turned out to be a highly competitive selection process.
The globalacceptance ratewas The 22 revised full papers presented together with 2 invited talks were carefully reviewed and selected from 52 submissions. The papers cover topics such as distributed algorithms, compact data structures, information dissemination, informative labeling schemes, combinatorial optimization, and others, with potential applications to large scale distributed systems including global computing platforms, peer-to-peer systems and applications, social networks, wireless networks, and network protocols such as routing, broadcasting, localization.
In its 15th edition, LPAR looked back at a rich history. The idea of organizing the conference came largely from Robert Kowalski, who also proposed the creation of the Russian Association for Logic Progr- ming. In , it was decided to extend the scope of the conference. In , the conference was held in Tbilisi, Georgia.
In , the name but not the acronym changed again to its current form. Share this post with your friends. Table of Contents. Telegram Channel. Facebook Page. Youtube Channel. Leave a Comment Cancel Reply Your email address will not be published. Quantitative Aptitude Maths.
